A week of the 2 week holiday is over. I've been out for the whole week!
Monday:
Had flu. :( Dinner at Clarke Quay, fishermen's wharf with a few friends, went to check out peeps taking the reverse bungee ride. It was hilarious to see them scream their heads off on the ride, and then say " actually not thrilling one ( in chinese ) " when they touch ground.
Note to self : Don't not wear a dress/skirt up that ride. I'm so gonna try it at least ONCE.
Note for BEN: You are sooooooo going to ride that with me during your birthday * evil laughter* Chilled at TCC, the seat was comfy.
Tuesday:
Attended Figure drawing lesson, went to bugis with Ivory, window shopping. :D Visited Illuma ( how ever you spell it) Cool mall, with cool shops! :D
Wednesday:
Hang out with Vin-san at his place. I love his Dog. I love LOVE ( Dog's name) haha. Helped him with the tidying of his room. Still messy though~ hahaha. He is in the midst of revamping his room, started by changing his light. I think I wanna revamp my room too!! I want to get a beanbag or something so that I can chill on the floor and use my laptop. My computer chair kinda suck. Gets super uncomfortable after sitting for long hours.
Speaking about my room, it is recently being invaded by ANTS. Tonnes of them, crawling everywhere! Ants usually just crawl at a certain area, marching away, but NOOOO~ these ants are scattered, crawling EVERYWHERE. All four walls, the floor, my wardrobe EVEN MY BED! I was itching all over, not because the ants bit me, just feeling super paranoid, having thoughts about ants crawling all over me.I was busy, trying my hardest to get rid of them, just nice, the pesticide no more. =.= Thank gooodness my Dad get a new can, and helped me exterminate them. :)
( note: My room is infested with ants not because my room is dirty okay! I blame it on the weather change x), but seriously, my room is clean!)
Thursday:
Out with Ivory again. Hit Bugis then, went to Orchard on my own. The Ion is almost done. I was surprise at how much orchard have changed, I haven been there for probably a month? and the underpass from the MRT to Wisma is already open, Singapore is ever changing.
Friday:
was Vin's 18teen birthday! He had a BBQ! Dinner was good :D That stinky ass is finally 18! haha. Glad to have spent it with him & his friends :) I hope he had an awesome day.
Saturday:
Woke up super early, went to pick Vin-san up. Sent him to the airport. :D He was tired, I was tired. If you see 2 peeps nodding off at the airport, that will be us. Hahaha. After waving go bye to my dear, rushed home. Took the mrt, no seats, so I was dozing off while standing. It was a difficult task, trying not to fall while sleep-standing. I bet I look damn funny. I reached home earlier than I've expected. :D
Next stop, bus ride to Orchard with Mom to meet cousins and Aunt.
Aunt booked a room at orchard hotel, stayed there for a night. We were pretty suay, we went o have the buffet at the hotel, and my mom, aunt and cousin fell ill after eating the oysters. Lzg, had one, he had diarrhea once. My mom and aunt had many many more, they puked and had diarrhea countless times. Poor mom had it bad.
Cousins and I paraded orchard road in PJs in the middle of the night to get medicine for them. I reckon that it is pretty cool walking in ur PJs at orchard road, something different for a chance.x)
Thanks goodness guardian was open till 2am.
We got to see a different side of orchard road at the weet hours in the morning. Not glamorous at all.
Today/ monday:
Sungei Buloh trip with IS team mates today. Woke up late, Suppose to meet at 9.30am, wake up at 9.30am. :S SORRY GIRLS!
The weather was not on our side. It was a gloomy day. It drizzled twice went we were there. There wasn't much light. :( Good thing it didn't rain too heavily.
I think the pictures I took today kinda suck. :( Nice shots taken are irrelevant to the project concept.
We got to see quite a few wild lifes. Like giant lizards, giant spider, giant insects, squirrels and a few exotic birds. Something funny happened, we were trying to "chase" a lizard to attempt to capture a picture of it. So we were chasing, chasing chasing. and we walked into SHIT LOAD of flies, without realizing it. so I was when I heard the " Buzzzzzing~~~" sound, my inital reaction was " BEES!, RUN~~!!!" so me and 2 other girls RAN! but to the wrong side, we ran back to where we came from, we had to run pass the flies again! this time we covered our ears, for the fear of the flies flying into our ears. hahha.
The journey home was pretty tedious. Sungei Buloh is pretty ulu. There are no direct buses on weekdays, and the bus stop is located FAR FAR AWAY from the swamp. F-a-r. We cabbed to Sungei Buloh, but decide to take the bus home. We walked a long distance on deserted roads for approximately 20mins plus plus. I was tempted to hitch a ride from the cars that drove pass us. I've never felt soo happy to see a bus stop. haha
Wow, this post is awfully long. I wonder who managed to finish reading this long boring post.
I have a shit loads of pictures ahead!!
Yay, i get to rest at home tomorrow. :D Hopefully to get some work done. :(
