What awesome way to spend the last day of the year, then to go ICE SKATING!! but to my despair, ice skating didn't happen for us. =/ Made our way all the way to Kallang leisure park to find out that the skating rink was fully packed. Turned out, they had this Year end countdown event thingy going on.
Thank goodness the mall had other entertainment outlets. We went to catch Gulliver's Travel. The movie wasn't bad. Not memorable, but still kinda funny.
After the movie, we went down and there was a book fair selling second hand books, and we disovered COMIC~I miss reading em. Bought a couple of copies at $2 each. Saw "The Da vinci code" Selling at $4 only!! In good condition, but i didn't buy~ :/
We headed to paya lebar to try Arnolds. It was at city plaza, where, supposedly most of the blogshop get their supplies from, but we couldn't really find any nice clothes. I bought a bag though~ ME LIKEY~ :D
Marina bay was our countdown destination! We were lucky to get good spots to see the fireworks!!! The crowd control was great too! Once there were too many people, the security would seal the stairs to prevent overcrowding! The view was spectacular, and the fireworks were splendid. There was no countdown though~ ): Next time we should just buy the tickets for the concert!
